Ex-skinhead tells tale; brings diversity to WC

" Sophomore Minety Abraham stated that "lecture was really informal and kept the audience's attention." Abraham appreciated Meeink' honesty when telling his stories. She also learned a great deal about racism, sexism, and homophobia, which she believes "stems form ignorance, lack of tolerance and the inability of us to step outside of our comfort zones and see the world for what it's worth."

Sophomore Shauna Smith stated that Meeink "really taught that people can learn from their mistakes, no matter how old they are." Smith enjoyed that Meeink was "down to Earth" and informal in presenting his stories. Smith also commented on how Meeink stated that he was not a good speaker. Smith, however believes he was the best speaker she has ever heard. Although she enjoyed the lecture, Smith did, however, disapprove of the amount of cursing Meeink used in his speech.

Alexander Schuetz, a sophomore, enjoyed Meeink's talk. Schuetz stated that he also "enjoyed his attitude and demeanor; they made me feel comfortable." "
